Classroom Wireless Headphones

My Project

This project will provide a classroom set of wireless headphones to be used during independent work, online lessons, and small-group instruction. Many of our programs—such as reading interventions, language learning apps, and math tutorials—are audio-based and require students to listen closely without distractions.

My students are curious, energetic learners who thrive when given the tools to focus and engage.

They come from a variety of backgrounds and face daily challenges outside the classroom, but they show up ready to learn. Our classroom is a vibrant community where each student’s voice matters, and every opportunity to improve access to technology helps close learning gaps and builds confidence.

Currently, we have only a few pairs of outdated or broken headphones, and students often have to share or go without. Wireless headphones will allow them to move freely around the classroom, work at different learning stations, and stay focused during digital lessons without tangled wires or background noise. This will especially benefit students with IEPs or those who require audio accommodations.

Having a full class set will help level the playing field and ensure that all students have equal access to the learning tools they need.

With wireless headphones, my students will be able to better focus, stay engaged, and take ownership of their learning. This project will support a more inclusive and tech-forward classroom where every student has what they need to succeed.
