it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After my first year of teaching with a hand-me-down rug, I am looking to get a proper classroom carpet that will stand up to being used daily by 21 second graders!
A classroom rug is a town square, a stage, the center of everything that happens in the classroom.
A new rug will provide my classroom with a gathering space for us to come together as a classroom community to have lively discussions as a class and learn together.
My hope is that this rug will last me for years to come!
