it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating gives my students the power to make choices that support their learning. During independent work time, they can pick a spot in the classroom where they feel most comfortable and focused. Right now, students are working in a variety of places—at different tables, under tables with clipboards, or even sitting or lying on the floor. When students are comfortable, they're more motivated, engaged, and productive.
I've seen incredible improvements in their focus and work habits simply by giving them the option to choose where they sit.
They take this responsibility seriously, and the results speak for themselves.
The products I have selected will help my students by providing additional seating options, allowing them to make more effective learning choices. Kindergarteners are active, curious, and still learning how to manage their bodies and belongings.The cushions are adjustable and will let students sit anywhere around the room. These will be especially beneficial for students who need a break from their regular seating. I have also selected baskets for their tables so they can keep all their materials organized and easily accessible. This will help reduce frustration and prevent disorganization. Additionally, I’ve included a classroom calendar that will help structure our morning routine and give students a sense of consistency each day. Together, these resources create a more engaging, calm, and structured environment where young learners can thrive.
