This is a K-8 school of the arts. The students come from all over the city. My students are very sweet and caring. They are hard workers and deserve the best.

Some of my students do not have access to technology at home and would highly benefit from the use of more technology in the classroom. Please help our class out by adding to our project to help us collect all of the items that we need in our class to keep it full of learning and hard work! Thanks!
My Project
I plan to use these Kindle tablets in all subject areas. In English Language Arts, they will be used to play games related to the skill that is being learned in the classroom at that time. They will be part of our small group rotations as a technology center. Small groups of students, grouped based off of ability level, will rotate through the technology center. In Science and Social Studies, the students will use the tablets for guided research based off of the topic we are learning about in the class at that time. In Mathematics, we will use the tablets for a program called Zearn. This is a website that aligns with the Math curriculum that the district our school is in uses.
