Classroom Tech Needs

My Students

I work with approximately 100 amazing sixth graders. My students bring a huge range of skills, identities, and ideas to our school community. I work towards a fully inclusive classroom for students of all abilities, cultures, races, identities, etc. When my students enter sixth grade, they are wide-eyed and anxious. When they leave sixth grade, they are confident, bold, and ready for what lies ahead of them in middle school!

My Project

In today's day and age our students are highly connected to technology. However, sometimes we are missing necessities to be able to stay engaged in our technology. This project will give my classroom extra charging cables for when our devices die (often), headphones for listening to audiobooks, videos, or other digital media, a surge-protected charging tower, and a headphone organizer.

Having the basics to stay connected to our tech is a critical part of our learning.

Technology can be such a great enhancement to our classroom when we have the necessities to engage in it. Thank you in advance for your consideration in supporting this project!
