My Project
As a teacher, I am looking forward to the positive impact these resources have on students' learning journeys. Ear muffs or headphones allowing students to block out distractions and immerse themselves fully in their studies and ear muffs are particularly crucial for autistic/sound sensitive students. The utility drawer is staple, allowing me to stock it with essentials like pens, pencils, and papers that will be used throughout the week. This simple yet essential resource ensures our students have everything they need at their fingertips, promoting seamless transitions between activities and minimizing disruptions.
These materials—ear muffs/headphones, a utility drawer, and fidget toys—are crucial as they respectively enhance focus, organization, and tactile engagement, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Fidget toys are particularly helpful for students with ADHD and these toys provide a productive outlet for their energy, helping them stay attentive and engaged during lessons. This materials are a physical representation of supporting student comfort, focus, and overall growth in every way possible.
