This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my district have been impacted by COVID-19 in a multitude of ways. We are a predominantly Spanish speaking school district, so students who come from families who only speak Spanish struggled greatly to learn on a computer with English only learning supplies and activities. This has greatly impacted our students reading levels and ability to catch up once in school. The class set of headphones will help students be able to hear in both languages as many students never bring headphones to school in the first place. The other resources will directly help students who have been unable to bring supplies to school or a multitude of reasons.
