My Project

We do many writing activities in class to reinforce what musical elements we have discussed, listened to, watched or played on an instrument. Being able to reinforce what we have learned in class by allowing the students to create is essential in the learning process.

We may learn about dynamics and then the children complete a color by code to help remember the symbols for dynamics.

During our percussion unit the children make their own tambourines to create music and repeat rhythmic sequences. Music involves art, science and math and history.
