Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a wonderful group of third graders! They are so excited about all there is to learn this year. Many students come from lower income families and don't have access to materials they may need to help them be successful in school. I want to make sure that they have what they need to have a great school year.
My Project
These materials will make a significant difference for my students this year. I am in my second year of teaching and I am limited in the classroom resources I have that my students would be able to utilize.
The donations to this project will help many of my students be more engaged in their learning and will help them be more successful this year.
Many of their assessments will be online so having headphones will help students concentrate and do their best on these assessments. The math manipulatives will be great for centers and for fostering different ways of problem-solving. In addition, our classroom library is limited and my students love to learn more about the world around them, so the non-fiction books would be perfect for this. I know my students would really benefit from these materials and we would be so appreciative for your contributions to our classroom!
