Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

3rd graders rock! This is such a fun age to inspire their creative and imaginative brains because they want to learn especially since we are back together in the classroom.

Our district has limited funds to provide supplies for our classrooms.

The majority of my students come from low-income households. We are a Title I school, which means all students are served free breakfast and lunch. Despite financial challenges, my students come to school ready to learn and are always giving their best.

My Project

The school supplies I am requesting will enhance my student's learning because these are supplies that are not provided by our school site. For example, we need tagboard and ink for my printer to print multiplication flash cards for daily practice. The laminating sheets we will use to preserve their beautiful art pieces that they create. A rolling crate we would use to transport our library books to and from the library safely without having to carry. A quality stapler and tape dispenser will be amazing because ours is very old and unreliable. To creates some art projects a hot glue gun will be very helpful! Sticky address labels are used for Science projects and labeling their work. A small group collection of Ruby Bridges will enhance our next Language Arts unit and they will be able to take an AR quiz too. Lastly, the Post It Notes we use to annotate in our text books. These supplies will be so graciously appreciated!
