Classroom Supplies For My Special Needs Students

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! We are a Special education 4th grade class. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

Many students in my classroom come in saying they have difficulty completing practice assignments at home because of lack of supplies and resources.

Our school is nestled in the heart of Paterson New Jersey, which was once a very busy industrial part of the state, but now has fallen on some tough times for all.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best varies greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met. They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The

products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices.

The beanbag chair will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options. They are lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the class .

New math games will help increase their interest during math and center time. I am looking forward to being able to provide my students with alternative ways to learn!
