Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students come from various economic backgrounds, with over seventy-seven percent of our students receiving free lunch. Our students speak a multitude of languages. As diverse as our students are economically and culturally, they are also diverse in their academics.

My students are enthusiastic, eager groups of third-grade students from very diverse and economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Our school is a Title I school. My students are excited about learning and want to do well. Our class includes gifted learners, English language learners, and students with academic disabilities.

My Project

Getting back to school for in-person learning will require some basic classroom supplies to help us get organized. Laminating materials for student use is efficient and necessary because these materials can then be disinfected for use by all. Kleenex towels are useful tools in aiding us in learning with dry-erase exercises and cleaning up. Providing students with plastic folders to hold their papers and projects will be very helpful in keeping our desks organized.

With the Covid-19 pandemic, we have had to adapt all learning processes as well as our incentives.

Having fun erasers will help with incentives as these erasers will be used as incentives in the pet adoptions and trading games that are very popular in classrooms.
