Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students are materials that are needed in my self-contained structured teaching classroom. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The light table manipulative center will be placed near my math corner making it available to help students when they need assistance that require math tools. The writing materials such as writing tablets and draw and learn studio as well as the line maker will help students build their fine motor and adaptive skills. The hands-on games will help my students have fun while they are learning. The paper, office supplies, and other supplies of the sort will be used by the students, so that they may work on worksheets to help meet their IEP goals. The chair storage pockets, headphones, Ball Chair, Flex-Space comfy Floor Seat, sensory mats for Autistic Children, meditation Floor Pillow, and Cozy Chair will be placed on the carpet during whole group time and in numerous sections of my classroom depending on the needs of the students. The timer will be used so that my students know how much work time they have left, and it will make transitioning much smoother. The sensory/social and emotional items such as A Little SPOT of Emotion 8 Plush Toys with Feelings Book Box Set, toys sensory kit, sensory fidget tubes, etc, will help my students regulate when they are feeling overwhelmed or anxious. The teaching items I am requesting are to help print items for my students in color, make my classroom more welcoming, and have name tags available when needed for field trips or fun events the students may attend. Stickers to reward students when they have done well or need All of these items will help my students reach their fullest potential.
