My Project

What I love most about my high school students is their growing sense of identity, independence, and potential. They are at such a pivotal point in their lives—learning to think critically, ask big questions, and discover who they want to be in the world. I’m constantly inspired by their creativity, resilience, and their willingness to engage with complex ideas, even when the path isn't easy.

Obtaining classroom supplies for them means more than just having materials—it means providing opportunities.

Simple Supplies like paper, pencils, and markers seem to be hard to come by in my community. Oftentimes, I also have to provide snacks of some sort because they are always complaining of hunger. For incentives, I will pop popcorn for the class or give out popsicles. These supplies and initiatives help bring lessons to life, encourage collaboration, and make learning more equitable for all students, regardless of their background. With the right tools, I can support their growth and help them build the confidence and skills they need for college, careers, and beyond.
