Classroom Supplies for a New Teacher!

My students need color pens, borders for bulletin boards, a post it dispenser, tape dispenser, headphones to help them earn Korean.

My Students

My students are learning Korean as their second language. Most of my students are not Korean, but who are learning Korean to fulfill their foreign language credits in order to receive high school diploma. I also teach second and third generation of Korean Americans.

My students come from all parts of Queens with various economic, education, cultural and language backgrounds.

They learn Korean language, culture and heritage in my class and we need a lot of resources since city budget is very tight on education.

My Project

I am a new teacher in this high school teaching Korean in Foreign Language Department. I am teaching about 150 students every day. I need a lot of supplies to provide effective lesson to my students. I need color pens, borders for my bulletin boards, post it dispenser, tape dispenser, headphones for my students. The classroom is bare, the bulletin board is not ready.

Some students can't afford to bring their own headphones for our weekly computer lab so I need to keep at leaf two headphones in my class.

I will need more supplies as the school year continues but these are the urgently need now to set up my class.
