My Project
My Social Studies students range from grades 6th-8th with a wide level of abilities. They are very active and vibrant and are multi-sensory learners. My focus is to offer them a variety of learning experiences that are rigorous and student-centered. In order to accomplish my goal, I need to offer these students experiences that are intrinsically motivated by new and hands on experiences.
These classroom supplies include pencils, folders, dry erase pockets and laminating pouches and will help provide the necessisties so they can focus on new learning experiences and making new connections to the world around them.
Our school is in the most wonderful part of Fort Greene Brooklyn in a diverse and vibrant community. It has many points of interest and students are always inquiring about our neighborhood, these supplies would allow them to create new work in a more independent and meaningful manner.
