My Students

My students are amazing! Our school is located in a rural part of central California in the foothills of the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. We love our community and the natural resources we have in our area.

Many of my students come from middle- to low-income families.

My students come to school every day excited to learn something new and ready to take on new challenges. While our students have many obstacles in their lives, they persevere and succeed.

My Project

My classroom runs on a token economy. My students earn and spend their hard-earned classroom money. Every day, they have the opportunity to earn Burr Bucks. In turn, they can spend these funds in our classroom store. Some years, my students like to buy fun school supplies, this year, my students love to buy snacks.

Help me provide healthy snacks to sell in our classroom store.

My students love chips, cookies, and bottled water. I am replenishing our store with these items, which sell out quickly, to fuel my students throughout the school day.
