This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in an underprivileged neighborhood. With the materials in my order, I will be able to teach them about the solar eclipse. The clay and everything that goes with it will bring a hands-on experience for them. I can show them videos of the eclipse, but actually having the materials for them to work with will be so much better. My students get very excited about learning new things and this will continue their learning. Maybe a scientist will come from this experience or an astronaut. They are very excited.
