This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When my students come to class hungry, it is challenging for them to be able to put forth their best effort and focus on their academics. They are hungry throughout the school day.
Many of my students come to school without a complete breakfast or lunch from home.
I want to have my classroom snacks fully stocked for the school year so that my students know that they will always have access to food when working in my classroom. I hope that by providing my students snacks, they will be ready to learn each and everyday instead of being distracted by their hunger.
