This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." - Benjamin Franklin
I teach a group of sweet, generous, and kind-hearted students.
They are in first grade in a Title I school, and many of our students have economic and linguistic challenges.
My students love to learn, be active, and work hard. The students always come to class with smiles on their faces and a ready-to-learn attitude. The students in my class never give up and always try their best. I strive to give them the best educational experience a school can offer.
My Project
A healthy snack and drink are necessary for students to remain focused in class. These healthy snacks will ensure that students will be successful in the classroom.
In many cases, students arrive at school hungry and have trouble paying attention to their studies.
As many students eat lunch at school, providing them with a snack can help my students succeed. It is important for students to go to school focused and alert, and these healthy snacks will ensure that they do just that. It will help them learn when they are full of food.
