Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a brand new second grade teacher and I’m excited to teach for the first time. This is also my first time using donors choose. I have a small group of 13 students who are wonderful and happy to be back in school. Looking for some materials to make the classroom a fun learning environment.
My Project
These supplies will get students motivated to learn with more hands on materials being implemented into the classroom. We want each student to have the same access to materials in order to succeed with their learning while also making it enjoyable. These tools will also allow students to enhance their fine and gross motor skills which will help them with their writing. These tools are also important for small group work because they can brainstorm their ideas and also work together by sharing their ideas when asked to do assignments or projects.
