Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, energetic, and eager to learn my students are. Each child brings a unique perspective and an enthusiasm for discovering new things, and these resources will provide the support they need to channel their energy positively. The rugs will create inviting spaces for group work and independent reading, making the classroom feel more like a community where they can comfortably collaborate or reflect. The wobble chairs, on the other hand, will help students who struggle to stay still by allowing them to move gently while staying engaged in lessons, fostering better focus and emotional regulation.
The goal of this project is to create a classroom where every student has the tools they need to be successful, whether that means quiet reflection or active participation.
With these resources, I aim to give them a physical space that adapts to their needs, helping them to stay engaged, confident, and excited to learn. What makes my students special is their resilience and passion—they come in every day ready to overcome challenges, and these tools will empower them to take ownership of their learning in a way that suits their individual needs.
