Hello Donors,
I am a 2nd year teacher and working hard to create the best learning environment for my students.
Last year, we were fortunate enough to get wobble chairs and other fidget items to best help my students who need help concentrating. This year, we are focusing on getting key items for our classroom to create the best learning environment for them. Novel studies are so important to 5th graders and I am working towards getting grade appropriate class sets of classic novels to bring the joy of reading to my students. The whiteboards and other materials will help me as a teacher be better prepared for my students for the different topics and projects that we complete throughout the year. It is a place for me to display work and also utilized for small group work when possible. The fidgets and math resources will be used throughout the year to help with the 5th grade math as well as build concentration. Lastly, new organizational items will help my classroom run smoothly with better transitions to maximize learning time.
We will be utilizing these items all year round. Not only will it help to bring a better learning environment for my students but it will also make it a fun place for them to learn.
