As I begin my fourth year teaching preschool, I’m excited to move into a new classroom in a different county. However, this classroom currently has no tables or chairs for my students. In preschool, so much learning happens through hands-on exploration and center-based activities—whether we’re building with blocks, painting, practicing letters, or working together in small groups. Tables are essential for creating a structured, engaging space where students can learn, play, and grow.
