This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help my Kindergarteners and I get classroom rugs! Coming in as a kindergarten student, school can be intimidating! By giving my students a warm and welcoming environment, I can create a place where they feel safe and ready to start their school journey!
These classroom rugs will be used for morning meetings, learning time, and in our classroom library.
I plan to use the larger rug in the front of the classroom, so students will be spending a lot of time on it learning! I plan to add the smaller one to our classroom library that will make it inviting, and make reading something the students love to do!
