Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a group of curious 2nd and 3rd graders who are highly motivated and want to learn and grow! They deserve the very best environment for learning.
I am looking to add a rug to our classroom that will help facilitate whole group learning.
This rug will make sure students are comfortable and have their own space during whole group instruction in both math and literacy.
Without a rug, students are sitting on the ground without clear boundaries between their space and the student sitting next to them. I love this particular rug, because it gives each student a clearly outlined square that is theirs to sit in as well as adding a level of comfort that we are currently lacking.
