Help me give my students a new classroom rug! This rug will give enough room for each student in my classroom to sit.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Mathes's classroom raised $418

My Project
I have been in my current district for 3 years. I have been using an old piece of carpet that was left over from putting carpet in my basement at home. The edges are sharp and scratchy. I have tried to cover it with duct tape to help, but the students pick at it. Not to mention, it looks terrible. It doesn't fit all of my students, and doesn't have spots for the students to sit in consistently. We need a fresh, clean carpet where kiddos can sit on their specific spot. A new carpet would transform our classroom into a warm, welcoming space where students can focus on learning instead of worrying about where they are sitting.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
