Help me give my students a brand new classroom rug. Due to Covid guidelines our rugs were stored away and now are not safe to be used in the classrooms.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My second grade students are amazing learners. They come to school each day with a smile on their face. They are kind, caring students who enjoy working together in groups, listening to stories, and socializing with their peers. They have purserverd throughout the Covid pandemic and have made great gains this year.
Due to Covid guidelines over the last two years our classroom rugs were taken out of our classrooms.
The classroom rugs were then stored away and unfortunately ruined in the process. The students miss sitting on the hard uncomfortable floors when working in small groups and listening to a story.
After all that my class has endured I would love to provide them with a rug that we can all enjoy together.
