Classroom Rug to Build a Strong Community of Learners!

My Students
My students are from a small city in New Hampshire. I work at a Title I school that serves students in grades Pre-K to 3. They are a vibrant group of children that come to school every day excited to learn and see their friends!
As a Responsive Classroom school, one of our main goals is establishing a strong sense of community.
Our class works hard to make sure that everyone feels welcome and has a safe place to learn and thrive! My students are kind, compassionate, and full of joy!
My Project
The rug is the heart of our classroom! This is where we come together to say good morning, share about our unique experiences, laugh at our favorite books, discuss our mathematical thinking, and have awesome birthday dance parties!
Unfortunately, due to a very tight budget, my classroom rug has not been able to be replaced in over 10 years.
A new rug would bring new life to my classroom and provide my little learners with a bright, clean space that they can take pride in and that would make them feel welcome and comfortable! I look forward to all the memories we will be able to create in this new, happy space!
