I would love help to get a new classroom rug for the upcoming preschool class for the 24/25 school year as a first-year teacher.
One of my goals as a PreK teacher is to create a welcoming and safe environment.
Our current classroom rug is small, not providing space for all of our kids to sit around. This rug will allow for all students to be included comfortably in their own space.
In preschool, this rug is used for circle time, lessons, activities, movements, games, playtime and so much more. Much of our learning occurs in this space, so I must provide my students with this. Having a welcoming area rug for everyone to join will encourage my students to want to learn and participate.
