it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This first year Spanish teacher needs your help in obtaining a classroom rug for students to feel more captured by Spanish literature in a comfortable area on the floor. My students are often confused by where to sit on the floor during story time, since there are not clearly marked spots for them to sit. The tape that is in place for their designated floor spots often comes off. Students in the early years of learning are very much visual learners. Therefore, having a rug that has organized colors, or circles will help my students remember their listening area quickly and effectively. I would love to build a more community based learning environment for my youngest learners with a classroom rug, so we can remain in one designated area for story listening and communicative discussions. Please help me obtain my first classroom rug! My students and I would greatly appreciate your help.
