Help me give my students the motivation to stay on track. Some of the incentives I have included in my project are items like little toys, pencils, erasers, bouncy balls, and fidget toys.
My students are very hard working! They love to learn and coming to school. Many of my students are at least one grade level behind, sometimes more. We work extremely hard in our classroom and I expect a lot from them.
The majority of my students come from low-income families.
They enjoy coming to school even if they lack motivation for the day. I try my best to brighten their day and make learning fun.
My Project
All of these incentives were chosen based on what I know my students will want to earn. I included fun school supplies to encourage students to see learning as something they want to do! While I have a strong classroom management plan, sometimes students just need something tangible like a mini eraser or a bouncy ball. Those little things can make an enormous difference in the climate of the classroom. My plan is to use these incentives for goal completion on a weekly and bi-weekly basis. Students have to complete technology requirements as well as progress monitoring to show their growth and I want them motivated to focus and do their best!
