My Students
I teach at a public charter school in Camden, New Jersey. I teach 18 amazing, courageous, and intelligent 3rd graders who are learning how to return to in-person learning.
After being away for over a year, all of my kiddos are SO excited to be back.
My students love hands-on learning opportunities. My 3rd graders are eager to demonstrate the topics they've mastered and the topics that they freshly learned. It is my mission to make sure I provide them with the tools they need to do just that.
My Project
Help me restock our classroom by providing essential items for the school year. This year we will need plenty of PPE to keep our classroom healthy and safe so we can stay in person. Packaging tape and label-holders are essential to keeping our classroom organized and accessible. The dry erase markers will allow us to continue to have engaging math lessons that give the students hands-on ways to apply their knowledge. The noise-cancelling headphones are important for our kiddos with sensory issues to prevent them from becoming overwhelmed. Finally, stickers are wonderful rewards to keep our kids excited and engaged.
With all of these supplies, my co-teacher and I will be able to maintain our classroom norms, traditions, and safety to have a wonderful school year.
