My Project
My classroom has students that struggle with social skills and regulation. They can easily become overwhelmed by various activities. They use spaces to help them regulate their emotions and reset their feelings. This space will give privacy to reset. It will give them a comfortable space to relax.
Creating a reset area in our class teaches the students about regulating emotions and learning how to reset when overwhelmed.
The dividers give privacy so a student can feel safe. The timers allow choice of time and how long the student wants to take a break.
It is important for these students to be given a variety of items to help them learn.
