My Project
In our Kindergarten classroom, we are building the foundation for lifelong readers. My students are bright, curious, and eager to learn—and they thrive when literacy is taught in ways that are hands-on, engaging, and personalized.
This project will help us create an organized and interactive learning environment through three key resources:
Personalized Name Tags to support name recognition, handwriting, and letter-sound connections. Expo markers help students complete morning work on dry erase boards. Glue helps students complete multi-sensory activities.
Sturdy Folders, for each student to store their independent literacy work and keep materials organized during our daily reading rotations.
The headphones will be used for individualized technology time.
Pop-It Word Building Centers for CVC, CVCC, and CCVC words, which turn phonics practice into a sensory-rich experience that’s both fun and effective.
These Pop-It activities allow students to sound out and build words using tactile tools that reinforce segmenting and blending skills. Whether they're working on words like cat, jump, or stop, students will pop each sound as they build their decoding and spelling skills. These materials will support all learners, especially those who benefit from hands-on, multi-sensory instruction.
With your support, students will rotate through literacy centers that build independence, phonemic awareness, and reading fluency—all while making learning feel like play. Thank you for helping us grow strong, confident readers—one pop at a time!
