Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We've been working hard the past few years to create a comfortable classroom with flexible seating options for differing student needs and preferences. After considering student feedback, the bean bag chairs and carpeted areas seem to be what everyone prefers.
I'd like to offer two more comfortable spots in the room along with a carpet and lamp so that students can work in all corners of the room, in a chair or on floor pillows.
Since our class is largely project-based and collaborative in nature, having a variety of spaces really makes a difference in how students perform tasks and interact with each other.
