In elementary school you are with the same 20 students for 180 days. This allows for community to build, and friendships to begin. Halfway through the year as a teacher, you start to notice if your class needs some additional support in these adventures.
My goal with this gift is to put a higher focus on community building and friendships within the classroom.
This would allow the students to have a positive ending to their elementary years before moving on to middle school.
This also would include books and teacher resources that I can use next year to kick the school year off in an overly positive way.
