My Students
I teach such an incredible group of 2nd graders in a charter school with a rigorous academic curriculum. These students are working hard in Science, Language arts, and Social Studies, and I want to give the as many resources as possible to learn about the world around them.

My Project
Music was a large part of my education growing up, and I'm so disheartened to see that music education in my state isn't typically introduced until Jr. High, if at all. I started playing the recorder in 2nd grade, and an instrument in 4th. I want my students to have the same privilege.
