My Project
The students in my English class are squirmy and fidgety, but they are incredible learners who have lots of potential. Many of them are athletes, farmers, providers for their families in some way - sometimes, they have more on their mind than school.
My goal is to help students develop their social-emotional learning (SEL) skills.
We will use fidgets as focus tools while learning about why we struggle to focus. Additionally, we'll learn about ways to reset our brains and our nervous systems, which are huge factors when it comes to focus and better learning!
