My Students

I teach classroom guidance as a daily elective at my elementary school. Our school is located in a very diverse area, and our population reflects this diversity. My students come from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. I serve all 1st and 3rd-grade students in my classroom, and the academic levels range from gifted and talented students to special education students. In our classroom, I provide opportunities for my students to learn about character education. My students respond best when I present instruction through motivating and engaging learning experiences.

My students benefit from the lessons I provide each day.

A projector will allow my students to visualize the lesson and connect the instruction to learning. Currently, we read fun books, play games, build teamwork, color, and have great discussions. A classroom projector would greatly enhance their learning experience!

My Project

One of the challenges I face at both schools is the need for a classroom projector to present my lessons. Most of my students are visual learners, and a projector will allow my class to view my PowerPoint presentations and my videos for character development. I need to be able to project pictures and documents on the board, to model examples of the activities we do in class. This will help my students to visualize the curriculum, which is key for early learners. Today, teachers need to use technology in the classroom, such as a projector, to engage students in the lesson.

Today, the use of technology is imperative in our classroom.
