Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are spunky 7th and 8th graders who love to engage in real-world learning about finances and math. We are trying to change our family trees by learning to handle our finances the right way. They are eager to get hands-on learning.
My Project
The students work each day to "Be Safe, Responsible, Respectful, and Their Best." They earn Bear Bucks throughout the class for showing these traits, participating, and doing material.
Every week, the students get to redeem their hard-earned Bear Bucks for treats that fuel their learning.
They love when the Bear Buck trunk is filled with things they like to eat and play with.
Please assist with filling the trunk with items that the kids find desirable so they can feel a desire to work for their bear bucks. Thank you!
