This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My first-grade students are thoughtful, curious, and risk-takers. They are mini-adults that speak their minds and have hearts of gold. They are the sun and the moon to our parents, and as such, I feel privileged to know them. They know that learning opens doors to opportunities in the future. With this in mind, they are learning to advocate for themselves and explore their passions to prepare themselves for tomorrow. They know who they are and know that they can rise to meet and exceed anyone's expectations! I am grateful to have them in my class.
My Project
Our classroom has lots of classroom projects, small group activities, and individualized assignments. Unfortunately, our classroom printer does not have ink. The ink is intended just for students' needs only. What will get printed would just be the master copies of the work.
We would appreciate any donations!
Some examples of student projects, activities, and assignments that gets printed out include, but are not limited to, community building projects, leveled fluency passages, and personalized phonics assignments. Our classroom is data-driven, so it's important that I match my students' needs to the right levels and assignments. Printer ink will help our students receive the differentiated work that they need to succeed!!!
