My students need a printer in our classroom. Having a color printer will allow students to print projects in color and showcase for families and peers.
My students are hardworking children that come from impoverished homes. Many of them are the first of their families to be English language learners.
Our students come to school every day ready to learn and outdo what they have done the day before.
We set goals in each of the content areas which our students aim to achieve. This is not easy in a low income, Title l school, where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Despite the many challenges that our students face, they are always ready and excited to learn.
My Project
My students need a printer and a toner cartridge for printing published work. By having a printer in the classroom, you will be providing the opportunity for students to have the instant gratification of seeing their work published.
A printer will also helps us save paper in the classroom by having the students work directly with the technology in the room and avoid using the scrap paper.
Some students have difficulty writing in their notebooks, but, by having a working printer in the classroom, you will help meet the needs of those who students who need to type their work. They can print their essay and edit directly on the paper so that they can revise on the computer and print to publish.
