My students are in grades 9-12. They are a diverse group but they are all interested in learning mathematics and pushing themselves with challenging math problems. My students love puzzles and alternate ways to challenge their brains.
Our high school is a five-year comprehensive high school of about 2000 students in grades 8-12 and is accredited by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
32% of the students are identified as low-income, 11% have a first language other than English, and 12% are identified as special education. Our high school serves seven different villages in our community.
My Project
This project will provide a much needed printer to use in our classroom. We will use this printer to print all of our materials for class such as homework, worksheets, articles for statistics class and student work that they create on their computers.
This project will provide my students a printer to use in class for their projects, homework and worksheets and will give them access to print work they do on their computers in class.
This project will supply our classroom with a printer and ink. We will take very good care of it so it can be used for years to come. This printer will be such a blessing on days I need to print something last minute. My students do a lot of work on their computers, this will give them a way to print it out in the classroom.
