My Project
We're excited to introduce you to our wonderful classroom project that aims to bring the joys of small animal companionship into our learning environment! We believe that having classroom pets, specifically mice, will not only enhance the educational experience of our students but also foster empathy, responsibility, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
Project Goals:
Educational Enrichment: Our classroom mice will become living lessons, allowing students to observe firsthand the behaviors, habits, and life cycle of these fascinating creatures. This experience will promote curiosity and provide practical learning opportunities in biology, animal care, and ecology.
Promoting Empathy and Responsibility: Taking care of classroom pets encourages students to develop empathy, as they'll be responsible for the well-being of these small animals. Learning about proper pet care and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for the mice will instill a sense of responsibility that extends beyond the classroom.
Stress Relief and Well-being: Interacting with pets, even small ones like mice, has been shown to reduce stress and improve mental well-being. Our classroom mice will serve as soothing companions, offering comfort during challenging times and creating a positive atmosphere within the classroom.
What We Need:

Pet Food: Nutritious and balanced food is crucial for our mice's health and well-being. Your contribution will ensure that our furry friends receive the nourishment they need to thrive.
Bedding and Toys: Comfortable bedding and engaging toys are essential for keeping our mice happy and active. Your support will create a cozy environment and stimulate their natural behaviors.
Extender Packs for Mouse Cage: As our mice family grows, we'll need extra space to accommodate them comfortably. Extender packs will provide the necessary room for our mice to explore and play.
