My Project
My students live in a unique place, Grand Canyon National Park. During the pandemic, the tourism industry was greatly impacted and my students felt it deeply due to the nature of all of the jobs of their parents. For this reason, they have had additional trauma through the pandemic on top of all the learning loss that all students across our nation experienced. I would like to enhance their learning with high interest novels, books that encourage diversity, props for a moot court simulation, and page protectors for document based lessons.
This classroom project was brought to life by Arizona Department of Education.
