Help me give my students a well-organized classroom that includes a place for them to put their finished work, a pocket-chart to keep track of playtime activities, and a drying rack where little artists can put their paintings.
I am excited to start the next school year with kids from my community. As I am setting up my new classroom, I am thinking about how my kids will go about their day: where they will put their finished work, where they can easily access some activities, and how playtime will be organized.
Kids thrive when in a well-structured environment, where they know exactly where things go and where visual clues remind them of rules and daily structure.
That's why I am requesting these items for my classroom. The rolling storage cart will help me store their morning tubs in a place where they can only get them in the morning. The literature organizer will serve as a place for them to put their finished work that is ready to be sent home. The pocket chart with a sturdy stand will serve as a tool for organizing playtime (students will see which games are available and who is already playing with them). Finally, the drying rack will ensure that painted pictures stay out of everyone's reach until they are completely dry and ready to be sent home.
