This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Everyday we have an assignment and almost everyday a student loses their paper and has to start all over again. We have tried many strategies to save their work such as putting it in a book or keeping a work folder. It works for a while but then students end up losing that too. I want to provide students with a place in the classroom where their things will be safe and available whenever they need it.
I want to provide my students with organization bins where they can keep their everyday assignments in one place and a cart that will readily have their items such as pens and pencils in one place for them to reach.
I feel that having these items in place will allow students to learn to be more mindful of putting their things in one spot which will help them become more responsible. It will also allow me to plan ahead by placing items in a place they will be able to reach them.
