My Students

This upcoming year, I will teach 1st grade, and my students are diverse. Many are from low economic homes. Many children are below grade level. These children come to school every day with very diverse needs. As their teacher and caregiver, it is my goal to ensure that my students are the most successful that they can be. In my room, we constantly look towards to future by considering ourselves the Penn State Class of 2035. Every little bit that you fund, a child gets closer to that goal.

My Project

This coming school year, students will need to be able to keep their supplies to themselves. In previous years, we have used community supplies, but as we continue to navigate school in a pandemic, we have to limit contact as much as possible.

Help me give my students bins to ensure that their supplies stay safe.

The book bins will be utilized to give students their own personal space to keep books from our classroom library. Pencil boxes will keep the students supplies together. The rest of the bins will be helpful in keeping other supplies separated, such as math manipulatives.
