My Project
Don't you just hate when they put the art supplies in the wrong place? We have some new supplies and I realized, very quickly, that I need to find a clever way to keep the the colors from getting all mixed up.
It is time to teach some organization-izing skills the Mr. Murray way.
Because I love the 1950's I would like to keep my colored pencils in the vintage straw dispensers. I have one already and the students find it a fun way to organize. It is my hopes to teach better organization skills and to enable them to decide the best colors to keep together to make clean up easier. Also, I refer to the used-pencil bin as the "pencil graveyard." Usually they wind up on the ground instead of back in the very unattractive, yet vintage, Huggies wipes bin. So why not half a skull for my pencil graveyard. Makes sense right?
